District Sales Manager - Diabetes Care Division (Ontario)

Abbott seeks a District Sales Manager for its Ontario diabetes care division to lead a sales team and drive revenue growth. The role involves managing representatives, maintaining customer relationships, and ensuring operational excellence in the assigned territory.
Responsibilities
- Manage and develop sales representatives to achieve district revenue targets and goals
- Conduct customer and key opinion leader engagement to assess needs and market developments
- Train representatives on products, policies, and procedures; provide coaching and performance feedback
- Prepare forecasts, business plans, territory plans, and administrative reports for head office
- Oversee district budget and expense management while ensuring marketing program execution
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in business or health sciences
- Minimum 8 years experience with at least 2 years supervisory leadership
- Knowledge of labour laws and Ontario employment regulations
- Valid Ontario driver's license; ability to travel up to 50%
- Abbott Leadership Certificate (Recruiting, Employee Relations, Performance Excellence) within 1 year
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills with financial acumen
- Knowledge of competitive diabetes care products and services
