Enhance quality compliance in the nuclear sector with Black & McDonald as a Quality Assurance Specialist. Focus on pressure boundary standards by ensuring supplier accuracy and oversight in Pickering or Bowmanville. This role is critical within the Power Generation team, aimed at upholding nuclear safety and regulatory compliance. You will leverage over ten years of quality control experience, especially in nuclear environments, to supervise suppliers and maintain high standards. Your expertise will directly contribute to the integrity of pressure boundary components and their regulatory adherence. Key Responsibilities:
• Lead quality surveillance processes at supplier facilities
• Review and approve supplier quality plans and inspection test plans
• Identify and resolve manufacturing nonconformances
• Collaborate on enforceable procurement documentation
• Conduct QA site estimates for PNG & DNG projects Requirements:
• Minimum 10 years in quality control, ideally in nuclear
• Diploma or degree in Engineering or related field
• Strong knowledge of nuclear codes and standards
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
