Assistant Manager

Final compensation will be determined based on relevant skills, experience, qualifications, and internal equity. Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and support team members during shifts.
• Recruit, train, coach, and evaluate employees.
• Prepare staff schedules and manage labour costs.
• Ensure excellent guest service and resolve customer complaints.
• Monitor food quality, food safety, and cleanliness standards.
• Assist with inventory management, ordering supplies, and cost control.
• Support opening and closing procedures, including cash handling.
• Help achieve sales targets and restaurant profitability goals.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and health & safety regulations.
• Lead by example and maintain a positive team environment.

Qualifications

• 1–5 years of supervisory or management experience in quick-service restaurants, food service, retail, or hospitality.
• Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Experience with employee training and performance management.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Flexible availability, including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Food Safety Certification is often considered an asset.
