Dental Receptionist

Our downtown dental office (conveniently located near the subway line) is looking for a Dental Receptionist with assisting experience to join our team.

What You Will Do:

• Manage front desk operations including scheduling, recalls and patient communication.
• Handle insurance claims, billing, and accounts receivable.
• Maintain accurate patient records using Abeldent software.
• Keep the office organized, clean, and running smoothly.
• Assist the dentist chairside when needed.
• Sterilize instruments and support clinical flow.
• Order supplies and manage incoming/outgoing mail.

Requirements:

• Minimum 3 years of Canadian dental experience.
• Excellent command of English, both written and verbal is mandatory.
• Strong knowledge of dental terminology, procedures, and codes.
• Experience with Abeldent (preferred).
• Highly organized with strong multitasking abilities.
• Friendly, compassionate and patient-focused.
• Reliable, punctual and a strong team player.

Assets:

• Harp certification.
• Previous assisting experience in a clinical setting.
