Accounts Payable Specialist | Balmoral, NB

The role begins with a focus on Accounts Payable, with opportunities to expand into additional accounting responsibilities as the candidate develops in the position.   Key Responsibilities – Accounts Payable

• Ensure all payments are properly authorized and processed according to company policies


• Verify invoice and credit note accuracy in relation to general ledger accounts, taxes,


• Reconcile supplier statements and resolve discrepancies


• Respond promptly to supplier inquiries


• Generate reports and perform accounts payable analysis


• Prepare data for weekly payment runs


• Conduct account research and reconciliation

Other Responsibilities

• Provide reports and analysis as requested by management


• Effectively manage multiple projects, balancing priorities and ensuring deadlines are met


• Identify opportunities to improve accounting processes and systems

 Requirements

• Bilingual (French/English) – verbal and written


• Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy


• Ability to work in a dynamic, open-concept environment with shifting priorities


• Availability to work 40+ hours per week
