Located in the heart of the Cité de la Biotech in Laval, Kedrion Biopharma Canada's mission is to make rare connections that impact millions of lives. Our team is developing an innovative treatment based on plasma-derived proteins, offering a new path of hope to children and adults suffering from orphan diseases. To contribute to this innovative and groundbreaking project, we are looking for a Communications Advisor ! You will play a key role in planning, coordinating, and delivering strategic internal and external communications to foster employee engagement and ensure the effective flow of information across the organization.

Your expertise will help ensure message alignment with North American and global directions, while supporting key decisions through tailored communication strategies, engaging content, and close collaboration with teams and site leadership.

More Precisely, You Will Be Responsible For

• Write, translate and adapt bilingual content (FR EN) for various internal channels.
• Develop and deploy an internal communications plan for the Laval site, ensuring alignment with corporate and North American strategies.
• Manage and update the local intranet site and act as the point of contact for the related matters.
• Contribute to the development and rollout of the employer branding strategy for the site.
• Advise leadership on communication for projects, issues, and key messages, including public relations activities
• Measure the effectiveness of communication initiatives (KPIs, campaign analysis) and prepare follow-up reports

You are the right person for this role because you have :

• A university degree in communications or a related field.
• 2 to 5 years of experience in communications, ideally in an agency or public relations firm.
• Bilingualism in French and English (spoken and written).
• Strong writing, organizational, and attention-to-detail skills.
• Experience with newsletter tools (e.g., Mailchimp) and web/intranet content management tools (WordPress, SharePoint)
• Solid working knowledge of visual content creation tools (Canva, Adobe Creative Cloud).
• Basic knowledge of performance tracking and analytics (Google Analytics, media monitoring tools).

Knowledge of French is required for positions permanently located in Quebec so incumbents can communicate with their colleagues and suppliers in Quebec as necessary.

Other language requirement

Another language is required for this position in order to communicate with partners and colleagues, who are predominantly located outside Quebec and to understand the technical and scientific documentation used in our industry.
