About The Role
As a Sales Transaction Accountant you will play a key role in ensuring the accurate and timely posting of vehicle sales and related transactions. You will collaborate closely with the Sales and F&I teams to ensure that all deal information is accurate, compliant, and efficiently processed.
We're currently seeking a Full-Time Sales Transaction Accountant to join our dynamic team in office 5 days a week.
Key Responsibilities
- Accurately post vehicle sales in Reynolds and ensure timely processing.
- Verify deal details including sales contracts, rebates, incentives, and commissions for correctness and compliance.
- Work with Sales and F&I teams to resolve discrepancies related to vehicle deals.
- Prepare monthly remittance for extended warranties and aftermarket sales.
- Post and reconcile manufacturer invoices.
- Review and clean vehicle inventory-related schedules.
- Assist with the month-end close process by preparing deal-related entries and reports.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 3+ years of accounting experience, preferably in an automotive dealership setting.
- At least 2+ years of experience in deal posting in a car dealership environment.
- Proficiency in Excel with knowledge of basic formulas and functions (VLOOKUP, pivot tables, SUMIF, and conditional formatting).
- Familiarity with Reynolds is a strong asset, but not required.
- Exceptional attention to detail, strong communication skills, and the ability to manage time effectively.
- Accounting diploma or degree is required.
