Member Experience Officer (MEO)

As a Member Experience Officer, you will deliver high‑quality, relationship‑based service to members across in‑branch, phone, and digital channels. You will support everyday banking needs, guide members in using Vancity’s digital tools, conduct foundational financial conversations, and complete select account‑manager activities.

How You’ll Make an Impact

• Support a culturally respectful, high‑touch service experience aligned with local Indigenous values.
• Perform member transactions in‑branch and through call‑centre channels accurately and efficiently.
• Prioritise service across in‑person line‑ups, phone queues, and scheduled appointments.
• Onboard members to digital services and demonstrate digital account and product access.
• Gather complete and accurate member information to improve data quality and digital engagement.
• Conduct basic account‑manager activities including cash‑flow interviews, PAP and payroll set‑ups, and account openings.
• Support registered product set‑ups and onboard credit within defined scope.
• Identify opportunities for referrals and log high‑quality member insights in CRM.
• Promote next‑best‑product and next‑best‑service recommendations aligned to member needs.

What You’ll Bring to the Team

• High School Diploma (General).
• Post‑secondary education or diploma preferred.
• 1–2 years of experience in a financial‑services representative role or comparable customer‑facing service environment.
• Experience handling cash and processing financial transactions.
• Demonstrated customer service and relationship‑building skills.
• Strong digital literacy with comfort navigating multiple systems and tools.
• Experience supporting Indigenous members or communities.

What You’ll Earn

Salary range: $30.68 to $34.11 per hour. Base pay may vary depending on qualifications, skills, previous experience, and internal equity. You may also be eligible for our annual incentive program, subject to program eligibility requirements.
