Title: Graphic Designer II
Duration: 14 months (Extension/Conversion possible)
Location: Toronto, Ontario M5K 1A2- 4 days on site, one day work from home
Schedule: Mon- Fri, 9 AM- 5 PM
Training Period: One week
Pay Rate: $26.92 / Hourly
Note: Please provide a maximum of 10 relevant portfolio samples of current branding and design work.
Typical Day-to-Day Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with business partners to develop high quality marketing materials including sales tools, pitch decks, brochure, ensuring creativity is aligned to Brand and strategy objectives
- The Graphic Designer will be required to create visual concepts as well as work within existing templates with a high degree of accuracy to produce a wide variety of materials that reflect brand guidelines. Examples include Creative concept developing, event collateral, Marketing collateral, PPT design and UX design.
Must Have Hard Skills: (hard skills and how many years of experience)
- 4 years hands-on contribution in the Creative field
- Adobe Creative Suites; InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, Acrobat Pro, After Effects, Figma, Premiere pro and fluent in Accessibility design
- Microsoft Office; Word, Excel and Outlook, strong PowerPoint skills are essential
- Strong technical knowledge of how web-based technologies apply to web design such as HTML, CSS.
- Strong capability with data visualization, solid skills in infographic design.
- The candidate must have the confidence to handle all aspects of their projects, from holding creative briefs with stakeholders to coordinating printing and delivery with vendors.
- Exceptional knowledge of graphic and web design, event branding and accessibility design best practices.
