REGISTERED NURSE (RN), CLINICAL TRANSFORMATION (Terrace)

Position Summary

Clinical Transformation Nurse (RN/RPN) supporting designated units by delivering in‑person education to facilitate the implementation of Safer Care across Northern Health acute care facilities. Responsibilities

Deliver in‑person education and coaching for Safer Care implementation. Organize and actively participate in learning sessions for workflow reviews, skill enhancement, and practice changes. Attend Safer Care Readiness meetings and share resources and updates with clinical teams. Provide support before, during, and after Safer Care activation, tracking common issues and escalating problems. Offer occasional implementation‑specific workload support and assist with issue resolution and system troubleshooting for frontline clinicians and leaders. Serve as a knowledgeable guide on new features or modifications to existing program workflows. Travel to various acute care sites as required; own a valid BC driver licence and be able to operate a motor vehicle. Adhere to scheduled shift rotation: Tuesday–Saturday, 08:00–16:00. Qualifications

Registered in BC as an RN or RPN. Minimum of two (2) years of recent relevant nursing experience. Proficient with personal computers and electronic documentation systems. Valid BC driver licence. Skills & Abilities

Effective interpersonal, organizational, and teaching skills. Ability to work independently and manage a varied workload. Knowledge of resources and support services for transition from paper to electronic documentation and orders. Demonstrated planning, problem‑solving, and documentation skills. Experience participating in quality improvement initiatives. Strong organizational, planning, and prioritizing abilities. Physical ability to carry out the duties of the position.
