Emergency Department Registered Nurse

The Registered Nurse will report to the Patient Care Manager and be responsible for primary care of Emergency/Trauma patients. You will perform assessments, interventions, and education while supporting a Person-Focused Care philosophy. Your role will require strong interpersonal skills and the ability to thrive in a high-pressure setting.

Key Responsibilities: • Assess and intervene in Emergency/Trauma patient care • Educate patients and families on care processes • Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare teams • Advocate for patients and support their needs • Participate in quality improvement initiatives

Requirements: • Current registration with Ontario College of Nurses • Baccalaureate degree in Nursing preferred • Two years of recent Emergency experience required • Current B.C.L.S. and A.C.L.S. certifications • Commitment to ongoing education in Emergency nursing
