Rogers

Regional Content Director - Vancouver

Are you ready to take your career to new heights and be a part of a dynamic team at Rogers Sports & Media? We believe in creativity, innovation, and collaboration in everything we do, and we are looking for people who share this mindset to join us. With a monthly reach of 30 million Canadians, you can help shape the future of sports, news, e-commerce, and entertainment. At Rogers, we value diversity and inclusivity and believe that every voice matters. Join us today and be a part of a team that is redefining the future of media.

Who we're looking for:

The Regional Radio Lead, British Columbia is the big-picture thinker and day-to-day driver behind multiple Rogers Radio stations across B.C. You'll lead with vision, creativity, and confidence—boosting audiences, growing revenue, supporting great teams, and delivering unforgettable local content that connects communities and strengthens our brands. This role owns the daily operations while setting a clear regional strategy that reflects Rogers' passion for great storytelling, local connection, and market leadership.

What you'll do

  • Be the heartbeat of regional radio, leading station operations across multiple B.C. markets
  • Set the tone and execute the strategy for winning regional programming that delivers audience growth and market leadership
  • Coach, mentor, and hype up on‑air talent and station teams—because great radio starts with great people
  • Oversee all things programming: music scheduling, talent development, on‑air sound, promotions, and killer station imaging
  • Champion digital growth across streams and social platforms to reach listeners wherever they are
  • Dig into Numeris ratings, research, and audience feedback to guide smart, data‑driven decisions
  • Team up with Sales, Promotions, Marketing, and Digital to build creative, revenue‑generating ideas
  • Build strong relationships with advertisers, sponsors, and community partners across the province
  • Keep everything running by the book with CRTC compliance, broadcast standards, and Rogers' policies
  • Manage regional budgets
  • Be a proud ambassador for Rogers Radio at industry events and in the community

What you'll bring

  • A bachelor's degree in broadcasting, journalism, or a related field—or equivalent real‑world experience
  • 5‑8+ years of radio programming leadership with a proven, winning ratings track record
  • Previous Program Director experience (required); Operations Management experience is a big plus
  • A genuine love for radio—and a desire to have fun while doing great work
  • Strong leadership and coaching skills that inspire teams and elevate on‑air quality
  • A collaborative mindset and the ability to work seamlessly with management, sales, promotions, and corporate partners
  • Comfort with ratings tools, research, music scheduling software (like Stratus), automation systems, and digital audio production
  • Top‑notch organization skills with the ability to juggle multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment
  • Excellent communication skills—on paper, on air, and in person
  • Flexibility to work varied hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays when needed

What's in it for you

We believe in investing in our people and helping them reach their potential as valuable members of our team. As part of our team, you'll have access to a wide range of incredible resources, growth opportunities, discounts, and perks, including:

  • Discounts
    • Enjoy up to 50% off Rogers Services and Blue Jays Tickets, 25% off TSC items, and a 20% discount on all wireless accessories sold in Rogers stores.
    • Company matching contributions to charities you support
  • Growth & Development Opportunities
    • Self‑driven career development programs (e.g., MyPath program)
  • Rogers First
    • Priority in applying to internal roles of interest
  • Wellness Programs
    • Homewood employee & family assistance program
