Kitchen Steward for Dishwashing Duties

Elevate kitchen support as a Kitchen Steward by managing dishwashing and maintaining cleanliness in culinary areas. This role includes working various shifts including weekends and holidays. As a Kitchen Steward, you'll be vital in assisting kitchen and service staff. Your primary responsibilities include washing dishes, organizing utensils, and ensuring the kitchen remains clean and hygienic. Effective communication with colleagues and understanding kitchen operations will help you thrive in this role. Key Responsibilities:
- Wash all dishes, glassware, and kitchen equipment
- Organize and stack clean items safely
- Operate the dishwasher and kitchen tools properly
- Handle cleaning supplies and chemicals safely
- Assist in maintaining cleanliness of the kitchen area
- Availability for a variety of shifts including holidays
- Strong communication skills with teammates
- Ability to stand or walk for long periods
- Knowledge of kitchen health and safety regulations
- Capacity to lift at least 50 lbs
