Elevate customer experience in framing solutions with Michaels as the Custom Framing Department Manager in Ottawa. Build strong customer relationships while ensuring quality in all framing orders. Michaels is looking for a Custom Framing Department Manager at the Ottawa-Train Yards store. This role combines hands-on framing work with customer interaction and team support. Key skills include a focus on sales results, adherence to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), and the ability to lead in the Framing Manager's absence. Key Responsibilities:
- Adhere to SOPs ensuring compliance with laws
- Build relationships through elevated customer service
- Complete framing orders with high quality
- Support Framing Manager in KPI achievement
- Train and assist other team members
- Basic computer and measuring skills
- Experience operating framing equipment
- Retail experience preferred
- Ability to lift heavy boxes and frames
- Capability to stand for long periods
