Strategic Partner - People and Performance

Become a Strategic Partner at Canadian Blood Services, driving People, Culture, and Performance initiatives from Toronto or Brampton in a hybrid work model. Elevate strategic HR planning while supporting operational excellence. This Temporary Full-Time position is perfect for someone with 5 to 7 years of experience in a Business Partner role within a unionized setting. You will work closely with business leaders, provide coaching, and implement people-focused solutions to enhance workplace culture and performance. Foster effective partnerships to align HR functions with business outcomes. Key Responsibilities:
- Build collaborative partnerships with leaders and unions
- Offer insights on operational people-management strategies
- Participate in developing HR programs and training
- Engage in collective agreements and conflict resolution
- Identify opportunities for operational improvements
- Bachelor’s degree in HR, Labour Relations, or Business
- 5 to 7 years in business partner roles in unionized environments
- Extensive knowledge of HR practices and legislation
- CHRP certification is a plus
- Strong analytical and interpersonal skills
