Leadership Role in People & Culture

Become the Assistant Director of People & Culture at Fairmont, enhancing employee experience and fostering inclusivity. Lead initiatives across Talent Management and Employee Engagement in Vancouver. This role is vital in supporting the Director of People & Culture in a luxury hotel environment. You will help instill Fairmont’s values throughout daily operations while ensuring compliance and effective communication within the team. Your leadership will play a key role in developing a strong employee journey. Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the management of People & Culture operations
  • Build trust and support within the team environment
  • Provide insight on labor law compliance and HR strategies
  • Lead employee wellness and engagement initiatives
  • Facilitate exit processes in accordance with regulations
Requirements:
  • 3+ years in People & Culture/Human Resources leadership
  • Degree in HR, Hospitality, or relevant fields
  • Knowledge of employment best practices desired
  • Strong decision-making and organizational skills
  • Experience in luxury hotel settings is an additional asset
