Community-Focused Executive Director Role

Shape the future of hospice care as the Executive Director of Barrie Family Hospice of Elgin. This pivotal role focuses on operational leadership and community impact in a culture of compassion. Leading with a heart, the Executive Director will partner with the Board and stakeholders to advocate for quality hospice palliative care. The candidate should manage risk and support fundraising initiatives while promoting a collaborative workplace culture. Key Responsibilities:
- Spearhead strategic vision and operational strategy
- Develop partnerships with donors and community health providers
- Lead fundraising activities and support fundraising teams
- Promote high standards of care and organizational performance
- Ensure robust compliance and risk management practices
- Degree in healthcare administration or nonprofit leadership
- Extensive leadership experience in healthcare or hospice
- Skilled in strategic planning and organizational management
- Strong team-building and communication skills
- Valid Ontario driver's license for regional travel
