Volunteer Position

Cancer Triad Members (positions below).

As a member of the Cancer Triad, you would actively participate in various activities within Kingston General Hospital (KGH). Collaborate with the Cancer Triad Coordinator to plan and execute initiatives aimed at positively impacting individuals in the Cancer Ward. This is an excellent opportunity to use our resources to benefit the Kingston community.

Eligible candidates must have paid the Arts & Science Undergraduate Membership Fee.

This application will remain open until Saturday, September 14th at 4pm.

Positions Available:

Marketing Director (2)

- Oversee the development and execution of marketing strategies for the Cancer Triad.

- Responsibilities include managing social media campaigns, designing promotional materials, and collaborating with other directors to ensure consistent branding and messaging.

- The role requires strong communication skills and creativity to effectively reach and engage the target audience.

Events and Logistics Director (3)

- Plan, organize, and execute events for the Cancer Triad.

- This role involves coordinating event logistics, managing timelines, securing venues, and working closely with other directors to ensure successful event outcomes.

- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail are essential for managing multiple events simultaneously.

- Finance Director (1)

- Manage the financial operations of the Cancer Triad, including budgeting, tracking expenses, and preparing financial reports.

- The Finance Director is responsible for ensuring the club's financial health, overseeing fundraising efforts, and maintaining transparency in all financial dealings.

- This role requires a strong understanding of financial management and the ability to work closely with other directors to align financial strategies with club goals.

Sponsorship Director (1)

- Secure prizes, incentives and sponsorships for events (gift cards, coupons). Lead grant applications and foster partnerships with local businesses.

First Year Representative (2)

- Serve as a liaison and promote events to first-year undergraduate students through various platforms.

- Intern under club committees, assist with tasks, and attend all Cancer Triad events and meetings.

Time Commitment and Responsibilities:

An approximately 8-month term from September 2024 to April 2025 with a time commitment of 2-3 hours per week

• Attend committee meetings and events
• Work within sub-committees to organize event planning and marketing
