About Us: The Edmonton Community Legal Centre is a not-for-profit organization dedicated to personal and community wellbeing by delivering innovative legal services. Our community is Edmonton and all of Northern Alberta, and the people we serve are our fellow Albertans, who need help to resolve their everyday legal problems.

What You'll Do

The Evaluation and Impact Coordinator has a key role in advancing our vision, mission, and values. You will exemplify leadership and collaboration by supporting change processes, advancing strategies, illustrating service impact, and demonstrating curiosity and an eagerness to learn.

You will work with a staff team of 40 including lawyers, social workers, legal assistants, and client support professionals, and a volunteer team of 350, including 200 volunteer lawyers, and students and community volunteers from a variety of disciplines.

Responsibilities include research to support legal services delivery and evaluation, implementation of evaluation frameworks, leading and participating in data collection activities, monitoring results and suggesting strategies for improvement, writing reports, and tracking progress against operational plans.

• Program and Process Evaluation : Manage our client and stakeholder outcomes evaluation process, advising ECLC leadership about results and impacts.
• Storytelling : Work collaboratively with staff to collect examples of client experiences which illustrate the positive impacts of our work.

What We're Looking For

• Evaluation Skills : Demonstrated experience in implementation and analysis of both qualitative and quantitative evaluation research methods.
• Leadership and Organizational Skills : Demonstrated ability to lead the development, implementation, and coordination of multiple projects.
• Communication Skills: Persuasive and articulate written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to effectively convey complex ideas to diverse audiences.
• Qualifications: A relevant Bachelor’s Degree, with two or more years of experience developing and implementing evaluation frameworks in a not-for-profit environment.

The expected starting salary for this position is between $65,000 and $70,000 annually.
