Production Coordinator

We are immediately seeking a detail-oriented and organized Production Coordinator to support daily manufacturing and production operations in Edmonton, AB. The successful candidate will coordinate production schedules, monitor workflow progress, maintain accurate records, and ensure materials and resources are available to meet operational deadlines. This role requires strong communication, problem-solving, and multitasking skills in a fast-paced production environment. This is a temporary, 6 month contract.

Responsibilities:

• Coordinate daily production activities and scheduling to ensure efficient workflow and on-time delivery.
• Track production timelines, inventory levels, and material availability to prevent delays.
• Communicate effectively with internal departments including operations, purchasing, warehouse, and quality assurance.
• Prepare and maintain production reports, work orders, schedules, and related documentation.
• Coordinate with technicians on the shop floor.
• Monitor production workflow to ensure deadlines, productivity targets, and quality standards are consistently met.
• Assist with inventory control processes, including stock tracking and material reconciliation.
• Identify and resolve production issues in a timely manner and escalate delays or operational concerns when necessary.
• Maintain accurate production records, databases, and system updates.
• Support compliance with workplace health and safety policies and procedures.
• Collaborate with quality assurance and operations teams to support continuous improvement initiatives.

Requirements:

• 2+ years experience in a similar role.
• Must be highly proficient in Microsoft Office, experience with ERP Systems.
• Strong organizational skills, acute attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are required.
• Available to occasionally work outside regular working hours.
• Steel toed boots are required.
