BUSINESS INTELLIGENCE ANALYST

We’re looking for a Business Intelligence Analyst to join our team. Data Management is key for our strategies decisions and having the right tools and processes to drive efficiencies. The role would feed into the Trade Marketing and CMI team that is a strategic pillar of the organization that acts as a 2-way stream of information: flowing the brand and category information to Sales teams and flowing the customer and local information to Marketing teams.

This role reports to the Director of Operational Trade Marketing & CMI and works directly with multiple teams within the organization such as: Sales, Marketing, Finance and Supply Chain.

THE ROLE

In this role you will be responsible for:

• Strong background in Nielsen/Circana, leveraging data to generate actionable market insights through monthly presentations and scorecards
• Lead end-to-end data analysis, moving beyond reporting to identify trends, drivers, and opportunities for growth
• Data management expertise with advanced proficiency in Power BI, Alteryx, and large data set manipulation, transforming complex datasets into clear insights
• Partner in monthly Circana reviews, delivering insight-led storytelling and recommendations to Senior Leadership
• Communicate and present confidently to cross-functional teams, translating data into clear, compelling business narratives
• Serve as a trusted data and insights expert to Sales, Marketing, and Leadership teams
• Own and enhance all monthly Nielsen and Circana reporting, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and insight-driven output
• Lead weekly Power BI updates, ensuring dashboards are decision-oriented, automated, and actionable in real time
• Provide data-driven recommendations on assortment, pricing, and promotional effectiveness at key retailers
• This role requires a highly analytical and data-driven thinker who can translate complex data into actionable insights, influence business decisions, and proactively identify growth opportunities.

WHAT YOU’LL BRING

We’d love to see candidates who have:

• Excellent communications skills and ability to work with cross-functional teams
• Experience using Nielsen/Circana data
• Category Manager Experience
• Excel Advanced:
  • VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, If/Sum statements, Index Matching
  • When you use Excel: do you use a mouse? (Knowledge of shortcuts)
• PowerBI and Alteryx experience
• Critical Thinking
• CREATIVE problem solving
• Ability manage complexity
  • Ability to prioritize & confidence to ask for help and understanding
• Ability to manage complex working relationships
• Ability to clearly and concisely communicate ideas to upper management
• Persuasive selling of ideas

• Base Salary Range: $70,000-$80,000 CAD Annually
• Hybrid work model
