HR Admin

Summary:

We are seeking a motivated HR Admin to join our team in Winnipeg, Manitoba. This temporary part-time role is ideal for individuals looking to gain entry-level experience in the HR and personnel industry. The HR Admin will play a crucial role in supporting our HR functions, ensuring smooth operations and contributing to a positive workplace environment.

Responsibilities:

• Assist in the recruitment process by posting job advertisements and scheduling interviews
• Maintain employee records and ensure data accuracy in HR systems
• Support the onboarding process for new hires, including preparing documentation and conducting orientation sessions
• Respond to employee inquiries regarding HR policies and procedures
• Assist in the organisation of training sessions and employee engagement activities
• Help with payroll processing and ensure timely submission of timesheets
• Contribute to the development and implementation of HR initiatives and projects

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent; further education in Human Resources or related field is an asset
• Previous experience in an administrative role is preferred but not required
• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
• Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality
• A proactive attitude and willingness to learn
