Acumen Agency is developing Acumen TV , a business-focused media platform covering business, entrepreneurship, government, nonprofits, economics, industries, organizations, leaders, and important issues affecting communities and markets.

The platform will utilize YouTube and other digital media channels to distribute and monetize original programming.

The Opportunity

We are seeking a talented TV Host & Business Correspondent to become an on-camera representative of Acumen TV and help build its YouTube presence.

You will conduct interviews with business leaders, entrepreneurs, executives, government representatives, nonprofit leaders, professionals, experts, and other notable individuals , while helping develop compelling video programming for YouTube and other platforms.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone who wants to build a professional media portfolio, develop an on-camera career, grow an audience, and learn how to turn media content into a business.

Traditional television experience is not required. Experienced YouTube creators, podcast hosts, journalists, interviewers, broadcasters, content creators, and on-camera personalities are encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities

• Serve as an on-camera host and business correspondent for Acumen TV.
• Conduct engaging interviews with business, government, nonprofit, and community leaders.
• Research guests, organizations, industries, and issues before interviews.
• Develop compelling questions and interview topics.
• Conduct interviews at offices, conferences, trade shows, events, studios, and other locations.
• Develop recurring interview programs, series, features, documentaries, and special segments.
• Create video content specifically designed for YouTube and digital audiences .
• Work closely with videographers, camera operators, producers, video editors, writers, and researchers.
• Help develop Acumen TV's YouTube channel, programming, audience, and brand.
• Build relationships with potential guests, organizations, companies, government representatives, and other notable individuals.
• Help grow subscribers, views, engagement, and overall audience reach.
• Identify and pursue opportunities to monetize the YouTube channel and Acumen TV content .
• Develop opportunities involving advertising, sponsorships, branded content, partnerships, referrals, and other forms of media revenue.
• Take an entrepreneurial approach to turning the channel and its audience into a sustainable revenue-generating media platform.
• Track views, subscribers, engagement, sponsorships, partnerships, leads, and revenue.

Qualifications

• Strong on-camera presence and communication skills.
• Excellent interviewing and interpersonal abilities.
• Ability to research topics and conduct intelligent, engaging interviews.
• Professional, confident, and personable presentation style.
• Experience with YouTube, television, broadcasting, journalism, podcasting, interviewing, or digital content creation is strongly preferred.
• Understanding of business, government, nonprofit, economic, or current-affairs topics is valuable.
• Comfortable working with video production and editing teams.
• Entrepreneurial mindset and understanding of YouTube/content monetization .
• Ability to work independently and take ownership of the channel's growth.
• A portfolio, demo reel, YouTube channel, previous interviews, television appearances, podcast appearances, or other examples of on-camera work are strongly preferred.
