Senior Solutions Architect (Côte Saint-Luc)

Overview

A career as a Senior Solutions Architect within the Solution Architecture and Data team of the Cross‑Sector Solutions, Acceleration and Data sector at National Bank means leading the design and implementation of innovative solutions. Through your people leadership and technical expertise, you will have a positive impact on National Bank's growth.

Responsibilities

• Mobilize various experts to produce solutions that meet the functional and non‑functional needs of the business lines while being aligned with the company's strategic targets.
• Participate in peer reviews and support your fellow architects when they need help.
• Explain and promote the architecture governance process to project teams.
• Contribute to the evolution of the solution architecture practice.
• Keep abreast of and understand the impacts of technology on business processes and applications in order to communicate them to different types of audiences.

Team & Environment

You report to the Senior Director of Solution Architecture. The Solutions Architecture team you will be part of consists of around twenty specialists who work in an agile, proactive, and collaborative manner to seize opportunities, stay at the forefront of technology, and continuously improve processes.

Prerequisites

• Bachelor's degree in a related field and 7‑10 years of relevant experience.
• At least five years of experience as a solutions architect.
• Experience with case management tools such as ServiceNow (an asset).
• Experience in system integration technologies (APIs, micro‑services, Kafka, etc.) and Domain‑driven Design approach.
• AWS cloud solutions experience (AWS Certified Services Architect Associate certification, an asset).
• Ability to work in an agile environment and manage large‑scale projects.
