Property Manager Assistant in Toronto

Enhance community living as a Property Manager Assistant with Good Shepherd Non-Profit Homes in Toronto. Support property management tasks while promoting dignity and respect for all clients. This assistant role directly reports to the Property Manager, focusing on providing equitable services and fostering a supportive environment. You will coordinate tenant inquiries, manage inspections, and liaise with service contractors to ensure smooth property operations. The position encompasses various property management responsibilities while embodying the values of hospitality and adaptability. Key Responsibilities:
- Respond to tenant inquiries via phone and in person
- Coordinate inspections and repairs with landlords and staff
- Maintain housing and organizational files systematically
- Liaise with service contractors effectively
- Assist with unit turnovers and lease signings
- Post-secondary education in administration
- Experience in non-profit housing preferred
- Knowledge of Residential Tenancies Act
- Excellent computer and communication skills
- CPR/First Aid certification or willingness to learn
