- Greet and assist patients, ensuring a welcoming and professional experience
- Schedule and confirm appointments, manage patient records, and process billing
- Conduct preliminary tests such as ocular mobility, binocular vision, and accommodation assessments
- Support the optometrist with advanced diagnostic procedures (OCT, digital retinal photography, visual field testing)
- Assist patients with frame selection, lens recommendations, and eyewear fittings
- Provide education on contact lens care and eyewear options
- Contribute to the smooth day-to-day operations of a busy downtown practice
What We’re Looking For
- 1–3 years of experience in customer service, healthcare, or an optical/optometry setting
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Detail-oriented, organized, and able to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Proficient with computers and comfortable learning new software
- Team player with a positive, professional attitude
- Passion for eyewear, fashion, and helping people see their best
- Experience in Downtown Toronto or knowledge of the area is an asset
