Nature of the work
The principal and customary work of an employee in this class of employment consists in performing various technical tasks related to the management of human and financial resources, development and implementation of standards and activities related to administrative operations. As part of his or her duties, the employee may assist professionals and senior staff.
Characteristic functions
An employee in this class of employment assists the personnel management consultant in the management of the payroll records, PERCOS and IPOS (declaration of School Board Personnel) and Retraite Quebec (annual declaration).
- He or she works at updating payroll data, notably for parental leave files, performs test calculations and verifies the work done by other payroll team members.
- He or she also verifies different control lists, prepares reports and sees to the correct application of the collective agreements.
- He or she assists the Human Resources service with various dossiers and reports.
- He or she responds to requests for information and clarification from principals and staff members.
- If need be, he or she performs any other related duty.
