Join Prospeo as a Senior Privacy Counsel, shaping legal and privacy operations for a B2B SaaS leader. This remote role requires expertise in GDPR, CCPA, and strong commercial judgment. As the first legal hire at Prospeo, you'll operate independently while reporting to the co-founders, managing daily privacy operations and commercial contracts. Your ability to navigate ambiguity and leverage AI tools is essential for success in this multifaceted position. You will also coordinate litigation matters, guiding engagements with external specialists. Key Responsibilities:
• Run the privacy program across multiple regulations
• Manage data subject requests and compliance systems
• Draft and negotiate key commercial contracts
• Serve as a legal resource for the company
• Oversee regulatory correspondence and litigation matters Requirements:
• Law degree and bar admission in Canada
• CIPP/E certification required
• 4+ years in commercial/privacy legal work
• Expertise in GDPR/CCPA
• Proficient with AI legal tools and autonomous workflow Lead the legal function at Prospeo, ensuring robust privacy protection and contract management.
