Executive Director of Community Relations

Brock University seeks an Executive Director of Government & Community Relations to enhance outreach and influence at all government levels. Bring your vision and leadership skills to this crucial role. This position reports to the Vice-President, External and oversees Brock's government and community relations. As an Executive Director, you'll drive strategic initiatives, ensuring alignment with institutional objectives while enhancing influence and visibility. Your expertise will guide policy engagement and funding opportunities. Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement multi-year community relations plans
- Provide strategic counsel on government and community inquiries
- Drive initiatives to influence policy and secure funding
- Advise senior leadership on emerging legislative issues
- Lead relationship-building efforts with elected officials
- Leadership experience in government relations or advocacy
- Proven ability to influence and secure funding
- Strong project management skills
- Excellent analytical and critical thinking abilities
- Effective communication and relationship-building skills
