Senior Civil Litigation Law Clerk

Experienced Civil Litigation Law Clerks can apply their drafting and negotiation skills with JSM Law in a full-time, permanent position.
JSM Law seeks an experienced clerk for its multi-faceted growing team. The work involves civil litigation documents, client meetings, legal research, and correspondence. Candidates should bring at least five years at a Canadian law firm, Civil Law experience, and strong organization.
Key Responsibilities:
- Meet with clients regarding civil litigation matters
- Draft motions and Statements of Claim
- Review, amend, and update litigation documents
- Prepare mediation memorandums and trial records
- Research, write factums, and correspond with opposing counsel
Requirements:
- Five or more years at a Canadian law firm
- Knowledge of Civil Litigation Rules of Civil Procedure
- Demonstrated Civil Law experience and expertise
- Exceptional written, verbal, and negotiation skills
- Strong independent work ethic, organization, and time management
Support JSM Law’s civil litigation practice through precise drafting, client service, research, and organized file management.
