Senior Commercial Litigation Lawyer Needed

Join our boutique litigation firm as a Senior Commercial Litigation Lawyer. Specializing in various disputes, you will be integral in managing complex case strategies for our clients. We are seeking a skilled lawyer with at least five years of experience in commercial litigation within Canada. Your expertise in debt recovery, insolvency, and fraud cases will shine as you take charge of end-to-end file management. Collaborate closely with partners, mentor junior staff, and draft motions while advocating for our institutional clients’ best interests. Key Responsibilities:
• Manage litigation files, driving strategy from start to finish
• Draft and argue critical motions in court
• Advise clients on risk and recovery strategies
• Collaborate with partners and guide junior lawyers
• Contribute to client playbooks and updates Requirements:
• Minimum 5 years of commercial litigation experience
• Strong court presence and advocacy skills
• Proven client communication capabilities
• Familiarity with BIA/CCAA and mortgage enforcement
