Commercial Litigation Lawyer (min 5 years of experience) (Vaughan)

The Role

Matters include recovery actions (secured/unsecured), mortgage enforcement & power of sale, receiverships and CCAA/BIA issues, fraudulent conveyances, negotiable instruments/forgery claims. What You’ll Do

Manage files end-to-end: strategy, pleadings, motions, discoveries, mediations, trials and appeals. Draft and argue motions, including summary judgment, security/priority relief and injunctions. Advise institutional clients on risk, recovery strategy and cost‑effective resolution. Work closely with partners and associates. Mentor juniors and staff and contribute to playbooks and client updates. What You Bring

At least 5 years of commercial litigation experience in Canada (commercial, banking/insolvency or civil). Comfortable in court with strong written advocacy and drafting abilities. Proven file management and client communication skills. Asset: experience with BIA/CCAA, fraud/forgery, PPSA/priority issues and mortgage enforcement. Licensed and in good standing with the Law Society of Ontario. Job Details
