Job Title: General Labour (Metal Fabrication)
Location: Burlington, ON.
Shifts: Monday to Thursday, 7:30am-4:45pm & Friday, 7:30am-3:45pm
Rate of Pay: $20.00-$23.00/hour to start (depending on experience)
Job Type: Full-time
We are hiring general labourers for a welding and custom fabrication shop in Burlington. Ideal candidates will have experience in general labour roles, using hand and power tools, operating machinery, and a strong willingness to learn. Our client is willing to train and is looking for reliable candidates with a positive attitude! This is an immediate opening that has opportunity for growth and learning.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Cut, form, bend, and punch metal as instructed using tools and machinery
- Sort, pack and package materials and products
- Inspect machine parts and materials for defects
- Assist with general cleaning duties of the shop
- Other general duties as required and assigned
Candidate Requirements:
- Experience working in light industrial environments as an asset
- Experience using hand tools or other machinery is required
- Forklift experience is an asset
- Ability to comfortably lift between 10lb-40lb throughout the workday
- Strong willingness to learn and problem-solve
- Exhibit punctuality, reliability, a positive attitude, and the ability to work well with others
