Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced Pega Lead System Architect (LSA) to design, architect, and lead the delivery of enterprise-grade Pega applications. The ideal candidate will define scalable architecture solutions, lead integration design, and ensure adherence to Pega best practices and guardrails while working closely with business and technical stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
1. Solution Architecture Design
Define end-to-end Pega application architecture and scalable reusable solutions
Translate business requirements into case management workflows and system design
Establish class structure, rulesets, and application layering strategy
Ensure compliance with Pega guardrails, performance, and best practices
2. Integration & Technical Leadership
Design enterprise integrations using REST, APIs, Kafka, and databases
Define API-first and event-driven architecture for high-volume systems
Establish reusable integration patterns and frameworks
3. Development Oversight & Governance
Lead full SDLC delivery in Agile/Scrum environments
Conduct design reviews, code reviews, and performance optimization
Ensure scalability, quality, and production readiness of solutions
Enforce LSA governance and architecture standards
4. Team Leadership & Mentoring
Lead onshore/offshore Pega development teams
Mentor developers (SSA/SA levels) and provide technical direction
Support sprint planning, backlog grooming, and story breakdown
5. Stakeholder Collaboration
Work closely with business stakeholders and analysts for solution design
Provide technical feasibility analysis and solution options
Participate in architecture discussions and client presentations
6. Deployment & Production Support
Oversee release management and deployment strategies
Support production issue resolution and system optimization
Ensure monitoring, logging, and system resilience
