Job Title: Business Architect - Senior

Pay Rate: CAD $100-$105 per hour

Role Overview

We are seeking a Senior Business Architect to lead the development of enterprise business architecture artifacts and deliverables for large-scale government transformation initiatives. The role involves analyzing business needs, facilitating stakeholder workshops, developing business capability models, and creating business architectures that align strategic objectives, business processes, data models, and technology solutions.

The successful candidate will have extensive experience delivering business architecture for government or large enterprise environments, with strong expertise in Ontario Government Enterprise Architecture (OGEA) standards, Zachman Framework, TOGAF, business process modeling, business capability modeling, and data modeling (including ERDs and data flow diagrams) . They will be responsible for producing architecture deliverables, ensuring alignment between business, information, and solution architectures, and supporting governance processes and enterprise standards.

This role requires exceptional stakeholder management, communication, and facilitation skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with executives, business leaders, architects, and project teams to design future-state business capabilities and drive successful organizational transformation.

Must Have:

• Develop enterprise architecture deliverables and artifacts in alignment with Ontario Government Enterprise Architecture processes and practices.
• Proficiency in frameworks such as the Zachman Framework, TOGAF (The Open Group Architecture Framework), or other relevant frameworks.
• Deep understanding of diverse business environments, with a focus on government settings, including familiarity with key business drivers in these contexts.
• Understanding of data modeling principles and techniques, including entity-relationship diagrams (ERDs) and data flow diagrams.

Role and responsibilities.

• Analyzes government information pertinent to business architecture, consults with appropriate government contacts on specific business architecture elements and conducts focus group workshops.
• Develops and maintains business capability
