Role Overview
We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Decisions Developer (Subject Matter Expert) with deep expertise in the Decisions platform to lead the design, development, and optimization of enterprise-grade workflow and automation solutions.
This role requires a strong technical leader who can architect scalable solutions, implement best practices, and mentor teams while ensuring high performance, security, and reliability across environments.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and configure workflows, business rules, dashboards, and integrations using the Decisions platform
- Implement and manage Access Control Lists (ACLs) across applications and environments
- Develop and enhance SAML-based authentication and Single Sign-On (SSO) solutions
- Build and maintain role-based access control frameworks
- Manage and support multiple environments including Development, Test, UAT, Production, and Disaster Recovery (DR)
- Execute deployments and lead disaster recovery planning and testing
- Troubleshoot and resolve server, platform, and licensing issues
- Monitor system performance, workflows, jobs, and logs to ensure optimal operations
- Identify performance bottlenecks and implement tuning strategies
- Remove hard-coded logic and enhance system scalability and maintainability
- Collaborate with cross-functional business and technical teams to deliver solutions
- Support release cycles, deployments, and production operations
- Act as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) by defining standards, best practices, and mentoring development teams
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Strong hands-on experience with the Decisions platform
- Proficiency in Java development
- Experience with RESTful Web Services
- Expertise in SAML, SSO, and OpenSSO integrations
- Strong understanding of Identity & Access Management (IAM) concepts
- Experience in performance tuning, troubleshooting, and system optimization
- Ability to work in complex, enterprise-level environments
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working in Financial Services, Healthcare, or Enterprise IT environments
- Strong knowledge of security best practices and compliance standards
- Proven ability to lead and mentor engineering teams
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
