Drug Safety Associate - 6-Month Contract

Cencora seeks a Drug Safety Associate for a six-month remote contract role in Ontario, Canada, supporting pharmacovigilance and patient support services. The position involves processing adverse event reports, managing clinical documentation, and ensuring compliance with safety regulations and SOPs.
Responsibilities
- Receive, document, and scan clinical information in compliance with SOPs and applicable legislation
- Review source data documents, triage adverse events and product quality complaints per client requirements
- Enter and submit adverse event information and complaints into program-specific databases
- Perform quality checks on adverse event reports and source data verification as directed
- Screen medical and scientific literature for safety information; prepare reconciliation reports and follow-up letters
Requirements
- College-level education minimum; Life Sciences diploma or degree preferred
- 1–3 years experience in Medical Information, Clinical Research, Drug Safety, or related pharmacy/pharmaceutical roles
- Knowledge of pharmacovigilance guidelines from Health Canada, FDA, EMEA, and ICH
- Strong analytical, communication, and organizational skills with attention to detail
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and reliable internet for remote work
- Medical terminology familiarity and adaptability to learn new skills
- Bilingual English/French capability is an asset
