Music Programming Clerk (Contract Position)

Job Responsibility:
We are the Nation's leading custom background music provider; providing customized music to high-end bars, restaurants, hotels, and retail stores around the world.
We have an immediate opening of a six month contract (with possible extension) for a Music Programming Clerk. The candidate will be working within our Programming Department and will assist in maintaining the integrity of our media database under the supervision of the Music Programming Manager
Tasks, among other duties as required, will include listening to and certifying integrity of content and metadata, assisting with assembly of playlists, and research.
The position will be a remote one.
The successful Candidate must:
- Have a broad knowledge of multiple music genres
- Be a highly motivated, reliable team player
- Have excellent communication skills - appropriate email etiquette - very comfortable sending multiple follow-ups and keeping others apprised of workflows
- Have an excellent command of Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook (Office 365)
- Be highly organized and able to handle multiple projects in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment,
- Have the ability to interact effectively with various levels of personnel
- Be Passionate about Music!
Additional Requirements:
- Excellent Research Skills
- Ability to work unsupervised
- Experience with Scheduling software considered an asset
- Excellent attention to detail
