- Évaluer les opérations quotidiennes
- Planifier, élaborer, appliquer et évaluer les politiques, les programmes et les procédures en matière de personnel et de relations de travail
- Examiner les projets de ressources humaines pour s'assurer de leur conformité avec les lois et les règlements
- Former le personnel
- Établir et mettre en oeuvre des politiques et des procédures
- Agir en tant que médiateur dans les conflits de travail et les griefs
- Planifier, élaborer et mettre en oeuvre des stratégies de recrutement
- Coordonner le programme d'évaluation du rendement de l'employé
- Gérer des stratégies de formation et de perfectionnement
- Surveiller l'analyse de données et de renseignements touchant les employés
- Effectuer des recherches sur les usages en matière d'avantages sociaux, de santé et de sécurité et recommander des changements
- Voir à l'élaboration d'une stratégie de communication
- Surveiller la préparation de rapports
- Conseiller la haute gestion
- Embaucher, former et superviser le personnel
- Assurer la liaison entre la gestion, des représentants syndicaux et des consultants en rh
