Store Manager, Windermere (Edmonton) (Winnipeg)

What you’ll do

• Provide leadership to the team, coach and follow up to ensure delivery of the service model standards for each customer.
• Enforce delivery of the operating‑model customer service standards.
• Provide an exceptional omni‑channel experience by offering in‑store eCommerce sales and fulfilling eCommerce orders within defined service levels.
• Support customer acquisition through the promotion of customer loyalty and credit card programs.
• Demonstrate and follow up on the execution of Marks visual compliance standards, store maintenance and pricing standards.
• Plan and execute weekly price changes, promotional set‑ups, and department POP per the workbook, ensuring 100% system pricing.
• Deliver annual corporate shrink targets through team education, enforcement of LP and audit standards, and rigorous inventory control.
• Oversee preparation for annual inventories.
• Ensure compliance with corporate LP, Cash and Audit, OH&S; policies and procedures.
• Create and monitor efficient weekly store scheduling for sales and support functions.
• Provide continuous feedback and coaching to management and team members through Shift Starters, one‑on‑ones, and performance‑management coaching programs.
• Create development plans and conduct annual appraisals for management team and direct reports; coach to improve performance gaps and conduct ongoing coaching.
• Ensure execution of the customer experience and provide resolution for all customer concerns.
• Lead recruiting and hiring strategy for the store, maintaining a complete team.
• Create succession plans through continuous training and development.
• Act as a brand ambassador by promoting brands and culture.
• Motivate the team and performance through recognition programs, store contests, and customer compliments.
• Maintain performance‑management expectations and apply progressive discipline where necessary.
• Promote and maintain a positive, motivating work environment that is secure, inclusive, and empowering.

What you bring

• Proven ability to coach, mentor and develop department and store teams through setting expectations, communication, coaching, feedback, and ongoing support.
• Proven ability to build and manage a daily and weekly plan for the department and store.
• Exceptional communication and organizational skills.
• Superior training and mentoring skills.
• 3–5 years of retail experience.
• High energy, enthusiasm, and drive to succeed.
• Basic computer skills.

Compensation

Salary range: $52,000 to $65,000, based on experience, store size and market location, industry benchmarks, internal equity and role‑specific requirements.
