Your future role on our team As a member of our Mechanical Engineering team, you’ll lead mid-sized, multidisciplinary projects for studies and detailed engineering mandates in the mining and metals, heavy industry and energy sectors. Position Type
Regular Project Manager Responsibilities Lead work delivery for studies and detailed engineering mandates for various multidisciplinary industrial projects Establish budgets and schedules and ensure staff engagement Share project objectives with your team Oversee the quality of deliverables, costs, schedules as well as health and safety Check performance indicators and share results with clients monthly Mentor project leaders to achieve objectives Manage client expectations and ensure their satisfaction Present change notices to clients and define additional mandates with them Qualities & Values Results-driven Thirst to learn and excel Willingness to work together while having fun Rigour and ethical Interest in solving the most complex challenges Certifications & Job Requirements University degree in mechanical or industrial engineering and a member of the Ordre des ingénieurs du Québec From 10 to 15 years of relevant experience in the industry Experience leading mechanical projects in the industrial sector Available for short-term work assignments outside the office Relevant experience in project management and technical report writing Advanced English skills to facilitate collaboration with other BBA offices and/or clients in English-speaking Canadian provinces and internationally; you may need to use English occasionally or daily, depending on current projects Advanced French skills to facilitate collaboration with other BBA offices and/or clients in Québec Total Rewards Annual premium program for all regular employees Onsite mobility premium Time bank Cellphone fee reimbursements Group insurance plan from the first day of employment, including disability insurance and a telemedicine program Retirement savings planAnnual vacation and sick leave Premium for employee referrals Benefits Interesting growth opportunities to match your ambitions Participation in innovation projects A collaborative team that shares its ideas and knowledge Custom training and development plans A flexible schedule that combines office presence and working from home A caring environment where everyone’s ideas are listened to and there’s no perception of hierarchy On site and at the office: Health, safety and the environment are in our DNA About BBA
