ABOUT THE ROLE

We’re looking for an HR Coordinator to join our HR team on a Full-time basis.  In this people-focused role, you’ll be a trusted partner in delivering smooth, consistent HR support across the organization.

This is an exciting opportunity for a new graduate or early-career HR professional looking to gain broad exposure across the Human Resources function. Rather than specializing in one area, you'll have the opportunity to support Talent Acquisition, HR Business Partnering, Learning & Development, Compensation & Benefits, Payroll, employee programs, disability management processes, and strategic HR projects.

The role is designed to provide diverse experience across the employee lifecycle while helping support evolving priorities across the HR team. If you're curious, adaptable, and eager to learn, this position offers an exceptional foundation for a long-term career in Human Resources.

This position is based out of our Downtown Calgary Head Office , with the flexibility of a hybrid work schedule .

A DAY IN THE LIFE

• Support a variety of Human Resources activities across Talent Acquisition, HR Business Partnering, Learning & Development, Compensation & Benefits, Payroll, and employee programs
• Coordinate onboarding, employee documentation, and HR processes throughout the employee lifecycle
• Assist with recruitment activities including interview scheduling, candidate communications, and hiring support
• Support HR projects, process improvements, system implementations, and special initiatives
• Assist with disability reconciliation, benefits administration, and employee program coordination
• Maintain accurate employee data and support reporting, audits, and compliance activities
• Respond to employee and manager inquiries while delivering exceptional customer service
• Help coordinate learning programs, employee engagement activities, and recognition initiatives
• Provide support across the HR team to address changing business needs, project requirements, and team priorities
• Collaborate with HR team members to continuously improve processes and employee experiences

ABOUT YOU

• You have completed a bachelor's degree or diploma in Human Resources or related discipline
• You bring 1–3 years of experience in a corporate HR or HR administrative role, supporting a variety of HR activities across the employee lifecycle
• You are exceptionally organized, detail oriented and proactive, able to manage a high volume of tasks with accuracy in a fast-paced environment
• You’re a clear and confident communicator who builds trust with employees, leaders, and HR partners
• You’re comfortable working with HR systems (e.g., SAP, HRIS tools, Smart Services) and you learn new technology quickly
• You take pride in delivering consistent, high-quality service, maintaining confidentiality and navigating sensitive information appropriately
• You are a natural problem-solver, able to assess an issue, investigate options and escalate when needed
• You thrive in a collaborative team environment, showing flexibility, curiosity and a willingness to jump in wherever needed
• Strong interest in building a long-term career in Human Resources
