Camp Manager for High Arctic Operations
Matrix Camps
Elevate remote camp management with MATRIX, overseeing a construction camp in the High Arctic. Your expertise in hands-on operations in extreme conditions ensures critical life-safety and infrastructure maintenance. MATRIX is on the lookout for a skilled Camp Manager experienced in the unique challenges of Arctic environments. The role involves managing a 30-person construction and exploration camp while ensuring operational safety and efficiency. You will oversee maintenance and client service while addressing the realities of delayed resupply flights and severe weather conditions. Key Responsibilities:
• Manage all aspects of camp operations effectively
• Oversee housekeeping, catering, and health and safety
• Perform hands-on maintenance of camp infrastructure
• Ensure camp remains functional in challenging conditions
• Provide exceptional client service and support Requirements:
• Experience managing camps north of the Arctic Circle
• Knowledge of camp systems, including power and water
• Skills in hands-on maintenance under remote conditions
• PAL Licence and Level 1 Supervisor Certification
• Standard First Aid certification and valid Driver's Licence Utilize your expertise in Arctic operations to ensure safety and functionality at MATRIX's construction camp.
