Become a Casual Lifeguard/ Swim Instructor at the Aquatic Centre, ensuring safety and high-quality service for all guests. This role requires supervision, teaching, and adherence to safety standards while on duty. As a Lifeguard/ Swim Instructor reporting to the Aquatics Program Supervisor, your responsibilities include overseeing activities in the pool area and providing swimming instruction. You'll perform rescues and first aid when necessary, ensuring a safe aquatic experience for everyone. Candidates must showcase mature judgment and excellent people skills in this engaging environment. Key Responsibilities:
• Supervise guests in the pool area during shifts
• Teach various swim programs effectively
• Perform rescues and administer first aid as needed
• Maintain cleanliness and high safety standards
• Provide outstanding customer service and support Requirements:
• Minimum 16 years of age and Swim Instructor certified
• Valid Standard First Aid and CPR - C certification
• Ability to perform skills to NLS standard
• Availability for versatile shifts including weekends
