Support your community by becoming a Personal Support Worker with ParaMed in Ottawa, Ontario. Deliver essential care that empowers patients to live independently through everyday assistance. As a full-time member of ParaMed's home care team, your role is critical in assisting patients with daily living activities. You will provide personal care, prepare meals, and offer companionship, ensuring a nurturing environment for each client. Your compassionate approach and reliability will directly improve the well-being of those in your care. Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with activities of daily living including hygiene
- Prepare wholesome meals tailored to individual needs
- Provide basic household support and companionship
- Support patient independence in home settings
- Travel as needed to provide care at patient locations
- Valid Personal Support Worker Certificate required
- Compassionate and reliable caregiver
- Access to a vehicle with a valid driver's license
- Clear Vulnerable Sector Screen for safety
- Passion for making a positive community impact
