Drive innovative HR practices in your role as Director of HR and Culture at Stella’s Place, located in Toronto. This hybrid position focuses on enhancing workplace culture and strategic project management. At Stella’s Place, you will lead comprehensive HR strategies that align with the organization’s mission of supporting young adults’ mental health. Reporting to the Executive Director, collaborate on recruitment, employee lifecycle management, and compliance, while fostering an inclusive and accountable culture. Your proficiency in HR processes and effective communication will be vital for success in this dynamic role. Key Responsibilities:

• Define and implement HR strategies aligned with goals
• Collaborate with leadership on workforce effectiveness
• Ensure effective onboarding and training practices
• Monitor compliance and legislative adherence in HR
• Lead improvement of employee experience initiatives

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as HR
• 7–10 years of HR management experience required
• Preferred: HR certification (e.g., CHRP)
• In-depth knowledge of HR best practices and legislation
• Excellent interpersonal and project management skills
