Role and Facility Information

Applications are invited for 1‑2 full‑time interventional cardiac electrophysiologists at Royal Columbian Hospital, New Westminster, British Columbia. The successful applicant will bring contemporary experience in complex device implantation and cardiac ablation, including complex atrial and ventricular procedures, and will participate in the regional electrophysiology call schedule. Additional responsibilities include participation in ambulatory services as determined by the clinical group and a commitment to the general cardiology service at Royal Columbian Hospital.

Royal Columbian Hospital is a tertiary provincial referral hospital located in New Westminster, BC. It is a University of British Columbia affiliated teaching hospital with a high‑volume cardiology program that performs over 800 electrophysiology procedures annually and supports a substantial interventional cardiology service.

Qualifications

• Current license with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of British Columbia (CPSBC) is required.
• Membership with the Canadian Medical Protective Association (CMPA) is mandatory.
• Fellow of the Royal College of Physicians of Canada (FRCPC) or equivalent is required.
• Experience in complex device implantation, cardiac ablation, and regional electrophysiology call schedules.
• Experience in research, teaching, and health‑care administration is an asset.
• Availability for full‑time positions (1‑2 positions available).
