Account Manager

Job Summary:
Provides service along a continuum of prevention services to assist customers with the development and implementation of safe work environments. Support WCBs goals and objectives. Account Managers work side-by-side with customers to deliver psychologically safe workplaces, employer support and secondary prevention strategies. Responsibilities include understanding company operations, assessing existing safety programs to identify areas needing improvement, and recommending solutions through reports and presentations. Helping customers navigate the WCB system, operating the Employer Resource Centre, onboarding new employers, helping customers understand claims experience and experience rating system, attending tradeshows and events and coaching employers through the development and implementation of psychologically safe workplaces, work disability prevention and return-to-work.

Qualifications:
Bachelors degree in Business Administration, Commerce, Marketing, Behavioral Sciences, Natural Science, Social Sciences, Education or Arts.
Five (5) years progressively responsible experience demonstrating the following:
Strong customer service orientation
Knowledge of program evaluation methodologies
Ability to market services and adapt approach to work effectively in a variety of situations with a variety of different people
Flexibility to meet with employers at their premises and accommodate their schedules
Ability to develop and maintain strong working relationships and partnerships with a variety of customers, stakeholders, internal operational departments and external enabling bodies.
Demonstrated knowledge of business planning processes
Sound judgment, problem-solving skills; ability to make effective and intuitive business decisions
Strong presentation and public speaking skills
Strong analytical skills

This position is a field position.  As such, it is necessary for an individual to have a valid class 5 drivers license
