Nanny Wanted - Seeking A Warm, Reliable Part Time Nanny & Household Assistant To Help Our Family Thrive

Hello! We are a friendly active family in Calgary looking for a caring, reliable part-time nanny to become an important part of our family’s support system. We have an energetic, curious 3-year-old son who attends daycare and loves learning, reading, exploring outdoors, and discovering how the world works. We (the parents) are engineers with busy professional careers, and are hoping to grow our family in the future. We’re looking for someone who is excited about building a long-term relationship with our family and providing support as our needs evolve over time. For now, the role focuses on caring for our son and helping keep our household running smoothly, with the hope that it will naturally grow alongside our family in the years ahead. Our ideal candidate is someone who is experienced and comfortable with live-out arrangements. We need assistance primarily in the mornings to do daycare drop off and the occasional weekend evening. Job Responsibilities:

• Provide loving, engaging care for our 3-year-old son
• Morning Daycare drop off Monday through Thursday (drivers licence required)
• Help plan both snacks and meal preparation for the family
• Occasional grocery shopping or food pick ups
• Light housekeeping related to our family (tidying toys, dishes, laundry, changing bed linens, etc.)
• Plan fun, age-appropriate activities that encourage learning and outdoor play
• Communicate openly with us about our son’s day and any household needs

We’re Looking For Someone Who Is

• Warm, kind, and patient
• Reliable and trustworthy
• Proactive and self-motivated
• Organized and detail-oriented
• Experienced caring for toddlers (and is comfortable with babies for future family planning)
• CPR/First Aid certified (or willing to obtain)
• Has a valid driver’s licence and clean driving record
• Comfortable with dogs

Bonus Skills

• Background in Early Childhood Education
• Montessori or Reggio Emilia experience
• Music education
• French or Spanish language skills
• Passion for food and culinary skills
