Nanny Wanted - Seeking A Warm, Responsible Nanny For Our Baby Part Time

Hey! We’re looking for a kind, reliable nanny to join our family in East Village Calgary and care for our 9-month-old son part-time. My husband and I both work in tech and work from home. I’m currently on maternity leave and will be returning to work in January, so we’re looking for someone who can join our family part-time initially and help us ease into a new routine before I go back to work full time. Our ideal nanny is someone who genuinely enjoys spending time with babies, is attentive and dependable, and is comfortable taking the lead on our son’s day-to-day care while we’re working from home. The nanny will be responsible for all of our baby’s day-to-day needs while he’s in your care, including:

• Feeding bottles and solid foods
• Preparing simple baby meals and cleaning up afterward
• Diaper changes, baths, and maintaining good hygiene
• Following his nap and sleep routine
• Getting him dressed and ready for the day
• Playing with him and keeping him engaged with age-appropriate activities
• Reading books, singing, and encouraging developmental play
• Helping him practice age-appropriate skills and milestones
• Washing/cleaning his bottles (we have a bottle washer), dishes, clothes (in the washer/dryer)
• Keeping his clothes, toys organized
• Communicating with us about his day, including meals, naps, mood, and anything we should know

About Our Family: We’re a friendly, respectful family of 3 and want our nanny to feel comfortable and like a trusted part of our household. Since we both work from home, we’ll be around, but we want the nanny to feel confident taking ownership of our son’s routine without needing constant direction. We’re looking for someone who is nurturing, responsible, and proactive. Experience caring for infants is important, and we’d love someone who is comfortable following a routine while also being flexible based on the baby’s needs. The position will start part-time while I’m still on maternity leave, with the goal of establishing a comfortable routine together before I return to work in January.
